Incorrect Promotion Leaflet Displayed Under Checkers N1 City Store

Dear Checkers Customer Service,

I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding a misleading promotion displayed on your website for Checkers Hyper N1 City.

When viewing the store-specific promotions under “Stores & Leaflets”, your website showed the Checkers Little Me Black Friday Weekend Western Cape (27–30 November) leaflet as one of the specials available at the N1 City branch. Because this leaflet was listed directly under the Checkers N1 City store page, it clearly appeared to apply to this store.

However, when I visited Checkers Hyper N1 City, I discovered that none of those specials were available, and staff informed me that the leaflet did not apply to that store.

This situation caused significant inconvenience. I traveled to the store with my sick child, only to find out that the promotion was not valid there. The store was extremely full due to Black Friday, which made the experience even more difficult and stressful. Customers rely on accurate, store-filtered information on your website, and this was misleading.

I kindly request:

An explanation for why an incorrect leaflet was displayed under the N1 City store.

Confirmation of what steps will be taken to prevent this from happening again.

Clarification on whether the advertised prices will be honored, since the leaflet was displayed under the selected store.

I look forward to your response and a fair resolution.
