Incompetence and *******
Ordered a few groceries online with their sixty60 delivery, reason for this is my car is out for service and needed stuff for the day before I get my car back to go do my monthly groceries. First of all you get to select the groceries you need from the list they provide for you. Got the total amount and I checked meant I paid for what I ordered. Then it went to the store (Northriding) that confirms they have received my order. As far as I'm concerned this means that everything I ordered and paid for is in stock only to see when I got my delivery that the chicken I ordered for dinner was not included. When I checked on the items that I ordered it's now out of stock. Remember we pay R35 for delivery, 15% of the total amount on top of the total amount of your order. Now I don't have my chicken and the delivery guy unfortunately doesn't know anything. Head office from Capetown had to call me and the lame explanation I was told was probably when I was ordering the chicken was there but they also serve walk in customers who might have gone in before my items where packed and finished everything. ( by the way I ordered just after 10am for 13.00 delivery), as that was the first option of delivery I got. Now I also get told that I wasn't charged for the chicken and I'll be re embursed after 2 working days. I asked to be paid immediately so I can make a plan to buy meat for my family for the night as I did not have any extra money left. Unfortunately the northriding checkers store nor the Capetown head office did not come back to me on this. First of all I still haven't been re embursed the first 15% that was charged on my first order which was on Thursday last week. I feel that we are getting ********** by checkers and that their service on this sixty60 is unprofessional. I'll like to get answers. My order number : ***1 and ***0
