I'm writing to express my deep concern regarding the recurring issue of poor-quality food items at your Checkers 14th Avenue, Roodepoort branch. This is now the third complaint I have had to raise about the same store, despite previous assurances that the matter would be addressed. I cannot accept that this is the standard of food items and products that is continuously sold to your customers. On Saturday, 3 January 2026, during my monthly grocery shopping, I noticed a punnet of strawberries covered in mold. I immediately reported this to the store manager, Mr. Bernard (if I recall correctly), who acknowledged the issue and promised corrective action.
