I was attacked, complained and they did nothing about it.

I had been going there since 2012, and nothing out of the ordinary had ever happened. On my way out, the security guard called me in, searched me, and even though they found nothing on me and couldn't see me *****ing anything through the cameras either, I was kept there for over two hours, while the managers kept threatening me and trying to get me to admit to a crime I did not commit. I had my passport with me, which they simply deprived me of during the time I was there. They tried to force me to sign a document that would constantly ban me from the store, and threatened to call the police and put me in jail, while raising their voices and making xenophobic remarks if I did not sing it, which I didn't. I know I am not South African , but don't we all, supporting and money spending clients, deserve to be treated the same?

And I let it go, but it all got much worse on November 11 2016, at around 21:00, when I shopping for my little brother's surprise party. We noticed that the staff stole from our cart as we went to get moeny to pay, and when we let one of the managers know of the issue, he got aggressive and started raising his voice at us, clients, in front of all the staff and other clients. He went as far as telling my friend that was helping me, that I am a *****. That was when I decided to take my phone and record. The picture attached to this email, was taken right after I took my phone out, and he started walking towards me, ready to attack me, saying 'I will break you' and even went as far as swearing at my mother.

Now I don't know what I have ever done to this man, maybe he dislikes non-south africans, or africans in general, I can not think of any other reason. However, I truly hope in future your staff is better trained, to treat everybody equally, with dignity, and to have much, much better customer service.

I had to send this email, because ever since that event I haven't felt comfortable in the store, as if he's told the whole staff that I am a ***** and should be watched and not trusted, when in fact, it has never been proved that I stole anything, nor has anything I didn't pay for, ever been found in my possession.

so I humbly ask, that this cancer to the society be dealt with, because I believe, this is not the image you want for your store, and definitely sure that a great South Africa should be built on love, understanding and cooperation, and not ************** of any kind.

Please don't hesitate to contact me should any further queries arise. Please find the man's picture attached to this email. I also have two witnesses to that day's event, that I am sure would gladly come forward.

Kind regards
