Horrible service

Train your managers to be considerate towards other essential workers. So on Friday, which was the country'side very first day of lockdown. Not knowing how things will be looking. How the shops in the mall will be. I went about off to work as my profession falls under essential services. Comes my lunch the only 3 stores open in Wesgate Mall Mitchells Plain. Checkers, woolworths and clicks. I decided to go to Checkers as I know they sell ready made food but besides that all I needed was a bread to have lunch at work. Get to Checkers the que is until the outside of the mall. I requested to see the manager. Who came very quickly. I asked him is there is any dispensation for us essential workers working in the mall as it is our lunchtime. I told him all I needed was a bread. He politely said no I have to join the que. I then continued to say it's not fair as we don't have the time to stand in a long que over our lunch period. His response to me was. I should have then packed in lunch. And it seems as if I wanth to start and argument. I just replI'd by saying that's not what I want to do. He brushed me off and turned away. I was son dispappointed with his response. And I feel that this needs to be addressed
