Horrible service

I would like to express my disappointment with Checkers. When I arrived on Saturday 10 March to collect the cupcakes for my daughter's birthday party and they showed me the cupcakes that I ordered on 5 March I thought it was a prank or a joke! I ordered pink cupcakes, on Friday I received an email that they didn't have pink icing and if they could use pink cream instead. I phoned and asked for purple cupcakes or white cupcakes rather than cream, because cream could go sour quickly. The cupcakes I saw on Saturday were such a dark purple that it looked maroon...then there were pieces of pink cream stuck to the cupcakes under the purple icing (obviously someone just sc****d the cream off half heartedly), and iced over the rest. The purple icing was mixed with blue icing and other colours. There were only 40 of the one colour and 8 that was a completely different colour! And then they squashed 20 cupcakes into a container and the ones on the sides were so mashed by the lid that I wouldn't have been able to use them! The lady that helped me was no help at all, she shrugged when I asked for a solution, and couldn't really care less if I liked my order or not.

So I ended up having to run around to bake and ice 48 cupcakes for a party!

I have never been so disappointed in my life. My 4 year old daughter was in tears when she saw them.

On Monday 12 March I sent an email complaining about this to Checkers Northgate (the store I ordered from), and received no reply. On Wednesday I submitted a complaint on the Checkers website and received no reply. I have now reverted to hello Peter and Facebook is next on my list.
