I was at the checkers in Plumstead today and witnessed one of their security guards fighting someone that was causing problems for others. They had an altercation and I personally witnessed the security guard being flung around and falling. During his fall he sustained several abrasions to his left hand, and minor abrasions to his right. He was bleeding and I walked him back to checkers (inside) so that they could provide a first aid kit in order for me to assist him. He lost feeling in his left index finger and I suspected either that it was broken or that some nerve damage occurred during his fall.

The manager on duty had no clue about anything. When I asked for wet wipes so I could at least clean the guard's hand to view his wounds he couldn't even do that. No first aid kit. No nothing, but they have detol apparrently.

THEY HAD NO FIRST AID KIT. A legitimate branch of one of the largest commercial distributors to the public did not have a first aid kit. Nevermind the Health and safety Act. Please keep that in mind when you decide where to shop.
