Hygiene best practices absent in Deli department. Checkers Brooklyn. Plastic packets for salad and roll of labels on top of slices of bread and work surface while making sandwiches. Supervisor no hairnet. Gloves only fetched from storage after my complaint. Sushi-chef and lady at cooked food counter busy on their cell phones. Gypsy ham on display obviously the leftovers from the weekend. When I spoke to the branch manager he did not bother to get up, stop chewing or give any indication that he took my concerns seriously. This deli will not pass a health and safety inspection
