Goods off before expiry date

I bought Douglasdale Full cream milk for R26.99 on the 24th of December at Checkers Wilropark, the expiry date is the 4th of January however today the 28th of December, the milk is off. I have not had loadshedding since the 18th so I cannot fault it on that.
