Goods off before expiry date

I procured four tubs of Lancewood Mascarpone cheese from Fourways Mall Checkers Hyper 24/3 in order to make cheesecake for a host of guests expected on Good Friday. The mascarpone tubs were sour and I lost a lot of money in peripheral ingredients such as the condensed milk et al. One of the tubs was so swollen,it actually made a whistling sound. Product expiry date: 28/3. I was left stranded, on a Thursday night, not able to replace my ingredients at this hour, and not able to give guests what I had planned or intended or promised them. Also a lot of money down the drain. Really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Worsened by the fact that I reported a mouse running around in the cheese stand-alone fridge section whilst at the store. Cold chain not cold at all?
