GOODBYE TO "SORRY Checkers"

Went into Checkers last Saturday. Stood at the bakery counter for a prolonged period of time to no avail. When another staff walked past, I commented that it was weird that the bakery is "closed" Obviously being facetious. The ladies at the back of the bakery were not at all fazed and just kept on packing stale and what looked like mini doughnuts for pedaling at the front of the shop with all the other about to expire stock. This is not an isolated incidence insofar as the bakery not having any real frontline staff and / or the existing staff not really being trained on frontline service. I also attempted to get hold of the branch manager in-store to no avail. When lodging a complaint via their call centre immediate response was forthcoming in the form of "sorry" from the branch manager. Literally - sorry. I must admit that although I wanted something more substantial than this in the form of being notified that corrective action has been taken and this occurrence will not happen again (never wanted anything for free). I am a person that votes with their feet and Checkers Rock Cottage will see these peds again and moreover, the actual premises has a terrible odour of cat urine.

PS - Delivery service never used however, I would check your drivers drivers licences, the roadworthiness of the motorbikes and develop some infrastructure that would guard against the whole car park being inundated with motorbikes creating access issues.
