Good security

My nephews left his phone on the counter while paying only to notice at home he is without his phone. We drove back and the manager at first told us there is no phone, and he requested camera footish. She then told us the phone is here, but we need proof it's his phone. His phone when off due to battery power so it was quite difficult to prove anything. But the point of my story is, its great they want proof before just giving away lost goods.
