Gateway checkers hyper staff abuse my wife

Checkers hyper gateway harressed my wife and the staff intimidated her which made her cry. I had the worst experience at checkers hype gateway. Their didn't allow me in the store has it was closing time. When my wife came out in tears. She said the black security guard was following her throughout the store which made her scared. She quickly paid for her stuff and proceed to leave the store however the same guard stopped her before leaving the store and searched the trolley. However they did not stop and search anyone else. After buy over R800 worth of stuff and doing a cash back, they conviently found a box of grandpa under the trolley which was claimed to be put by my wife. Two male security guards took the trolley and she had no choice but to follow them. They pushed the stuff one side out in the open and took her into the office which they then proceed to lock the door with no female present. The room she was in was small and there was no social distancing. She was scared and feared her life. They took her personal details down and then upon leaving called a female guard to escort to the til to paid for an item which she didn't even want.she was panicked by everything that happened and paid for the item to rush out the store. They forced and excused her of ***** which feel like they threatened her cause they said now they got a record against her. They harassed her. Upon requesting to speak to a manager they advised she is busy and won't be able to see us. We waited outside over an hour then she comes out the store. Her name was Charmaine Archy. She was rude and arrogant. She didn't listen to anything we had to say. She kept saying the item was not paid for and she arrogantly claimed she was the one who told the two male guards to take my wife to the office and locked the door has this checkers hyper policy were they took of the mask in the room and put her at risk of covid because of their policy. She claimed to be at the ladies toilet when the incident took place and the guard phoned her however my wife claimed the two black guards that was with her didn't make a phone call. We asked for checkers head office number and she told us she didn't have it. It is on the packet which we must look for. She told us to take her name down however she rushed into the store and shut the doors. While we were talking she walked away. Has a female herself at which did she think it was okay to ask to male securities to lock a female in the room. Anything could have happened inside, will checker hyper take responsibility. It was terrible to see what management is hired at checkers hyper gateway mall. My wife refuse to do her shopping at checker hyper going forward has she still traumised. If you are a female doing shopping alone, My advice is not to go to gateway checkers hyper, you rather go to Spar where they policy is not to harass and abuse customers.
