Fruit flies in salad!

I purchased a pre-packaged salad from the Checkers Hyper situated at New Market Mall. The expiry date listed on the pack stated 06/12/18. Unfortunately, the moment I opened the salad I noticed that it was crawling with what looked like fruit flies or some other type of insect.

I’m completely disgusted by this as I expect such a large chain to adhere to strict health and safety codes. This is very disappointing service and I will not be purchasing anything else from this store going forward.
