From great to terrible service

At the end of May 2018, I visited Checkers, De Grendel, where I purchased the mac and cheese (as advertised) at the hot food counter.

When I got home, it contained chicken (this was not indicated on the food sign). I am a vegetarian, and I contacted Checkers to let them know that they should label the food correctly to avoid this happening in the future.

When I went back to Checkers De Grendel yesterday, I again wanted to get the mac and cheese, and when I asked, the ladies said that it contained chicken (they weren't sure and had to 'go through' the mac and cheese to make sure.

The manager (not sure if store or regional manager) called me after the first time, and I received a R50.00 voucher towards my next purchase. I was promised that this matter would be dealt with and that they would correctly label the food, especially where it contains meat and it's not advertised as such.

Disappointing that after I was so impressed with the good feedback I received, that this matter has not been resolved. So much for feedback and improving service based on that.
