FRIENDLY HELPFUL CHECKERS BLU-BIRD STAFF

I cannot say enough about how pleasant it is shopping at Checkers Blu-Bird.

Aside from the cleanliness and neatness of the entire store, the extra added bonus is helpful and friendly staff right throughout each department. Nothing is too much and help is willingly offered. Everybody knows what a grind it is to do the grocery shopping and yet the staff at this branch and the one in Emmarentia where I sometimes go are helpful and friendly and willing to check availability if things are not on the shelves. The woman who weighs the fresh fruit and veg is always a darling and then today I met a guy in the wine section (main store not liquor) who was such a joy to deal with and then the butcher ... always always helpful ..

Who knew one would look forward to going to the grocery store? I actually live in Rosebank but choose to drive to Blu-Bird in Melrose so that I can shop at Checkers.

In fact I could not resist complimenting and thanking all of them enough for making it a pleasant experience. Yes, yes I am gushing but it is merited. :-)
