Friendly cashier

These days it is virtually impossible to find cashiers that are friendly. Most do not even greet a customer, nevermind being friendly. I was therefor very pleasantly surprised yesterday at Checkers in Willowbridge Place, Bellville, when I found a cashier who is different. Unfortunately I cannot remember her surname. She greeted me, was so friendly, and when I thanked her for it she told me how much she enjoys her job! Frankly I was shocked, but in a pleasant way. I know that being a cashier is not the easiest job in the world. Sometimes it is very depressing to meet the unfriendly cashiers in shops. This lady, however, just made my day, and I won't be forgetting her any time soon.
