Fresh food section , marrow bones, food poisoning.

CHECKERS, CO MARGATE, HIBISCUS MALL. Shoppers BEWARE, 14th, October 2024 I was at Checkers Margate in Hibiscus Mall I bought a full Roasted chicken that was put on display in the fresh food section, it was OFF, on the same day, 14th, after checkout till I had an extra R30.00 t so I returned to get my dog Marrow bones, I looked at the date of expiry it said 14th Oct 2024 so I was aware that I had to give it to my 3year old dog that morning by 8.30am. My dog ate in the marrow as the actual bone is about 6-8cm thick and only the centre is edible. 24 hours later I'm at the Vet across the road, diagnosis food poisoning, I had the packaging and last 2 bones I refused to give my dog after I could smell it properly a brought it along. There I was advised that many people have complained about their fresh meat section. With transport they cost me R1200.00 with dogs medication and consulting services. Disgrace I wasn't surprised that I didn't find them registered on hellopeter. I think also hello Peter has lost their touch and isn't user friendly as it was over a decade ago. I am opening a civil case let's see if they respond there, here I couldn't find them so I don't expect much.
