********** Price Labelling

A ********** labelling practice that supermarkets now appeared frequently is to replace the space where a "special" or low priced product was previously packed with a similar but higher priced item. As a customer you add the item to your trolley and if you are not checking at the till it passes through and you buy the more expensive item without knowing. This practice appears to be rapidly taking off in all the larger supermarkets and appears to often to be called a mistake. I suspect it is now a conscious and ********** practice.
