Food Poisoning from Checkers

Yesterday I decided to go to buy the roast Salt and Pepper chicken. So when I get to the Deli I go for Spare ribs and the full chicken. It was around 11 am in the morning. We had the chicken late around 18:30. Went to sleep as per usual, that was around 20:30. I unfortunately woke up at 22:30 my eldest was vomiting and having diarrhoea, I honest thought he had too much sweet stuff. Then my youngest started going through the same and this persistent till 01:35. When I thought all was well I started having diarrhoea and vomitted to a point I was now weak and literally shaking. Mind you my partner had the ribs, the boys and I had the chicken. Only the three of us was experiencing diarrhoea and vomiting. Partner decided to take us to the hospital. Upon arrival we were on drips ( sodium chloride something), what made things difficult is my pregnancy. I am currently 21 weeks pregnant, started experiencing pains/cramps on my tummy (think my diaphragm area). Blood tests were done and the results showed that everything was fine with the bloods. The doctor mentioned that its food poisoning. I am so disappointed that this very chicken was on display for people to purchase when they knew exactly that it was not freshly prepared.
