Food a year over expiration date

We have been using the Sixty60 app of checkers for a while now, there app and the buyers on there is really pathetic, but due to the pandemic I am forced to use the app as pick n pay don’t always have on there app what I need.

I have lodged 2 complaints to checkers customers services department in the last month, I bought tin dog food from them, I put a complaint on the app to say the dog food tins is damaged and no refund was done but not only was the tins damaged. It is a year over expired date. As far as I know it’s against the consumer law for any product to be on a shelve beyond its expiration date. The tins was cover in larve eggs and webs. It was packed like that into my bag along with my other groceries.

So my result to this is I have complained to 3 places regarding checkers and have had no responds from them what so ever.
