Filthy trolleys and bad management

I went to checkers in baywest on 08 May 2020. And went to collect a trolley to continue my shopping, as soon as I look at the state of how dirty and filthy there trolleys are was a shock of note. I notified the staff member that was handing out sanatizer. Another lady next to me also complained to see the state of flith as we are in a pandemic. I went straight to the manager (gentleman). And expressed how disappointed I was as a customer and he had nothing to say that was going to help this situation. I told him I'm leaving and said I will continue my shopping at pick n pay. How can we be fighting this global pandemic, trying to be as hygiene friendly as possible and we have to buy our food at shops that don't keep to the standards.
