Fillet has a totally new meaning

<p>I was at the Checkers Hyper today after seeing their "Baby Hake Fillet" which is marked clearly "Fresh from our seafood counter" on their pamphlets, I visited their store @ Festival Mall in Kempton Park and lo and behold, they simply pasted a large "special" sign where the product tags read "Hake Baby Frozen", price is right but the product is neither fresh nor a fillet.</p> <p> </p> <p>So, to summarise, there is no "Fresh" and it certainly aint a fillet of fish, no matter how "baby" it is, I guess the definition of "Fresh" and "Fillet" mean totally different things to Checkers then it does to me. Can this be taken to the NCC (national consumer commision)? I am certain the ASA might be interested in this rather "interesting" take on the word "fresh" and the "fillet" of fish having the entire fish, excluding head, but with all fins and tail and of course BONES!!</p> <p> </p> <p>I have photographic proof so I will gladly supply it to either the NCC or the ASA, this cannot be allowed!!</p>
