Faulty heater = Fire

<p>I bought an SCE convection heater from Checkers in Meadowdale mall. When i pluged it in the power plug melted. I changed the plug and it worked for a while but it then started turning on and off and sparking. When I took it back. The manager dismissed me saying he won't exchange it because I changed the plug. (I had the reciept)</p> <p>1. Are these heaters SABS or UL approved? </p> <p>2. Shirley the public's and my safty is worth more than the money saved by checkers?</p> <p>3. If I was checkers I would want to investigate every faulty heater. Imagine the damage they can cause.</p> <p>4. A little customer service goes a long way Checkers better and better</p>
