Faulty equipment- no responsibility taken by Checkers. Merry Christmas to you too
I bought a platinum 6.5L slow cooker this morning, to assist with Christmas lunch preparation. I spent just under R700 with delivery. Checkers Sixty 60 dropped it off. Upon opening the box, I noticed there was a massive dent on the side of the slow cooker. I immediately contacted Checkers Sixty 60, who informed me that they don't have a collection service and that this would have to be sorted out in store. If I was able to get to the store, I would have no need for Checkers 60 60. I asked to speak to a manager and suggested that instead of shifting the responsibility to the client, that they should contact the store and try and get the matter resolved. I received an email ask for picture of the slow cooker, which I provided. Nothing has been done to resolve the issue. looks like Checkers really don't give a damn.
