False promises / pensioners

Hi all I would like to share with you the lack of care Checkers has for pensioners

I recently engaged with checkers regarding a product originally the service was excellent although the product was not in stores they said they were going to bring it in I promised that within two weeks of my query I could go instore and purchase

Two weeks came and I took it upon myself to check prior to going to store to buy that the promise was in fact fulfilled I contacted checkers customer care and the amazing service I received previously had taken a turn for the worst was told the item was not in store I my anger comes from the fact that checkers had not taken it upon themselves to inform me knowing full well I'm a pensioner had I not fillowed up with them I would have wasted time and money to go to thier store . They made a promise and did not keep thier word customer loyalty in this day and age is virtually non existent Checkers clearly I thier arrogance do not acknowledge this we are clearly just a number to them .

May I remind Checkers that I'm this life all you have is your word checkers made a promise and did not keep it even worse they had no intention what so ever to update me absolutely shocking service
