False advertising to lure the customers

Yesterday i went to checkers Gezina and decided to add the 2x 1kg nutriday danone yoghurt on special to my shopping i took 2x double cream,1x aloe and 1x vanilla to my surprise when i got to the till first the cashier Mercy said they were not scanning then she called a Daniel/Dennis Mammetse who told me they were not on special and showed me the pamphlet,which does not specify "except/excluding" but naming a few flavours then i told him the advert on the fridge said assorted we went back and he saw , turned around and told me only the yoghurt on the empty top shelf were, then i asked how come the rest of the nutriday danone were not whilst the advert does not specify excluding which ones are not as per normal practice with other retailers, is that not false advertising? he still insisted i am the one who does not understand, how is that possible the website,the pamphlets,and the advert sticker on the fridge(which i even took a picture of) are all wrong but only that Daniel/Dennis Mammetse is right and the attitude was just condescending.
