False advertising at Checkers

We are regulars at Checkers hyper and usually have no issues with any of the stores but today was very upsetting when we went to the N1 city branch to pick up our cat food special, which, according to your add, it said, buy 2X 2kg Whiskas for R99 each and get 12 sachets of 85g wet food for free. However we were told in the shop that it did not apply to N1 city branch, yet the ad clearly lists N1 city Branch as one of the shops. Please, you cannot advertise one thing and then it's not true at the shop. We were not the only people there for the special. Please rectify this issue somehow.
