False advertising according to rude branch manager

For the last month ive been foung to checkers in mackeurtan avenue durban north, and every single week they do not have stock of items that checkers advertises as specials. Today i went to purchase the blossom 1kg butter thats on special. When i saw there was no stock on the shelves, i asked the branch manager what is going on. To my surprise she tells me that checkers dc has not supp**** their store with stock. I then asked how is it that checkers advertises specials but does not supply stores. She then very rudely says that if dc does not supply the stock what the hell must she do about it. I furrher went on to explain that for an entire month there has been this problem to which she replies take it up with head office. This is extremeley unproffessional behaviour from a branch manager and if what she says is true, then blatant false advertising from checkers.
