False advertising?

Went to both the Eastgate and Neighborhood branches and the shelves for the advertised lamb special were bare. Queried with one of the managers and he said that the whole of Gauteng didn't even receive stock. I thought it not only sneaky and dishonest seeing that the SA public are so pressed in this economy but big shops are just looking at making money using whatever means they can.
