False advertising

Im so disappointed at Checkers stores in Port Elizabeth.

On numerous occasions you advertise specials that are not even on your shelves or thay have not even been delivered.

Every single store in PE, gave me the same story on Friday when I called to enquire if they have stock of the Feline Cusine 2kg dry food special ( 2 for R99). I was told the stock have not arrived. I called on Sunday morning and I was told again the same. BUT YOUR SPECIAL IS ENDING TODAY SUNDAY.

THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING!

I asked if I could have a rein-check and i was shocked that i was only allowed to have 3 of the specials set aside. But if the stock was on the shelf, I was able to take as many as I wanted I was told. Also I must physically drive to the store to have the rein-check made.

Its not only wasting my time but my petrol because I have to drive so far just to do it, and if I want more than 3 specials, I have to drive to more stores to make up the amount i want. It doesnt make sense.

Not only disappointed, but utterly disgusted as this is not the first time I call the stores to be told the same thing allthe time.

It seems its the common thing with Checkers stores with this false advertiments.
