Extremely disappointed with Checkers Hyper at Westtown Mall.

I purchased oxtail from this store on Sunday, 25 May, expecting to treat myself after a long week. Unfortunately, when I started preparing it, I found hair on one of the pieces. I tried to brush it off and continue, thinking maybe it was just an accident. But as I kept going, I realized nearly every single piece was covered in hair.

This is absolutely unacceptable, especially for a product that costs nearly R100. In the end, I couldn’t even eat it — what a complete waste of money!

As a working student, I rarely splurge on something nice, so this experience was especially frustrating and upsetting. Checkers, you need to seriously improve your quality control. I would like to know what you plan to do to fix this or compensate customers who end up with inedible, unsanitary products.

Not impressed at all.
