Expired goods

Tuesday 08 June 2021 around 17:30, i visited checkers in seadoon in Amanzimtoti-durban. The store had special/sale on parmalat i had to get that for my kids, when i tool fro. The fridge i was shocked to see that what thy had on special had an expiry date of the next day which is 09 June 2021. This shouldnt have been on the shelve in the first place as its shelve date was tomorrow or was this a strategy from checkers? We have seen on tv where government officials close down shops for selling expired goods to customers, i wonder what will happen it i take this to Twitter and tag government officials, tag human rights commission. This did not sit well with me and i had to take pictures. Checkers you need to take this very seriously
