Expired food

I am so disgusted that such a big grocery store can be so careless, I bought peanuts and raisins about a week ago housebrand and only for me to indulge in them last night, to my surprise they had an awful smell and tasted very bad and stopped eating them, today when I check the expiring date, they expired on the 28th of February 2022,i mean this is a big packet for a person to finish them in one go. How can they still leav expired food on the shelves, what about our health. I'm getting sick just thinking about it. And I have seen alot of reviews regarding checkers and selling expired food, I have experienced it first hand.
