Expired Beverages

On Thursday 6 December 2018, I purchased 2 six packs of Stella Artois at Checkers liquor at Northgate for R160.00. the beer was consumed by my friends and I on the Saturday, and on Sunday I then fell ill with a runny tummy. I then discover that the beer sold to me had actually expired on the 23rd of October 2018. I took the empty cans back and asked for them to remedy the situation but was turned back. Such a huge corporation actually sells expired stock to customers and there is no apology issued of compensation for the victims. I advise anyone shopping at the Northgate Liquor store to check the expiry dates on anything you buy there as we are dealing with ************ people. I am still waiting for the so called manger to call me, even left my details but nothing has happened. I hope Checkers can make an effort to get in touch with me regarding this issue before I make my next move.
