Expired and rotten food

To whom it may concern, CHECKERS BURGUNDY SQUARE, BURGUNDY ESTATE

I am now completely fed up. I have never complained about this but now I have reached the point of enough is enough.

I cannot tell you how many times I have returned chicken and meat that is rotten. To many dam times. Prepacked fruit, off and sour a day later. Cheese that has been frozen and crumbles. This morning I am helping my neighbour with food poisoning because she ate crab salad from the Sushi section.

When we return the meat, it is just taken in and swopped. But nothing gets done about it. Its just getting worse. We live in Burgundy and depend on the checkers. But something needs to change. We spend thousands of rands at this checkers and every second spend we have to return items because its off. Especially meats. The expired items are still on the shelf and you have to dig through meat packs to get maybe 2 days ahead. But still find its off after removing from the freezer.

This is becoming a great concern. If something is not done about this, I am going to report to the media as well as the Health Department.

I hope something can be done and I would like some response.
