Excellent service delivery with a smile

My husband and I were so disappointed with a recent food product from Checkers, Robertson. Because we live out of town we could only return the next day to get a refund on our purchase. And here we met Teresa, the manager. She quietly listened and gave us her complete attention. She came from around her position at the counter and we noted she was most uncomfortable with a back injury. She was so very personable and gave us her reassurance that the matter would be dealt with as she herself has had concerns regards the item. She welcomed our feedback as it strengthened her case to improve the service delivery of the item.

She immediately offered her apologies and a refund or another cake. We preferred to be re-imbursed and she immediately refunded us. She was apologetic, swift to act and did it all with such ease. Personally we think Teresa was so tuned into our experience and could sense we were quite let down by the purchase. She just there and then offered us a cake on the house and practically insisted on it and proceeded to get us another cake. And just just like that Teresa’s swift action, professionalism and endearing genuine care restored our faith in the service delivery at Checkers Robertson. Teresa you have certainly made an impression on us and we will be back to continue our shopping at your branch. We look forward to seeing you and hope you recover from your back injury.
