Dr Hahnz dog food
Good evening<br> <br> Can you please explain why your stores in JHB do not carry the Dr Hahnz dog food? I have just moved from Cape Town and we used to purchase this dog food in bulk from Checkers there. Now when we went to the store to do our monthly groceries shopping, we were shocked to see there was no Dr Hahnz dog food! We had to drive all the way to PnP Hyper and they had this on a promotion on their leaflet - buy an 8kg with a free Dr Hahnz 830g can. We ended up spending R5370 inside PnP due to this.<br> <br> We as pet *****s will always go an extra mile for them and we did. Surely do others due to this. Our dogs have never looked better. I was talking to a breeder and he also said that he has been trying to buy in Checkers for long and could not find it and hence moved to his nearest Spar. You can not even say that quality is bad as I have 3 show quality dogs that are very fussy and wont even go near other commercial brands like Pedigree!!<br> <br> I am a businessman with 3 dogs. Surely as a business you can not be serious as you just lost my family's business. Is Checkers getting complacent with old boring brands? Not good in todays day and age!

Prior to listing, research is done in terms of demand and whether there will be an adequate supply line from the manufacturer as well as cost is also taken consideration. The category buyer had reviewed this information and listed various products in the Dr Hahnz range. Previously, the products had showed a slow rate of sale in the Gauteng Division. However, the buyer is meeting with the supplier shortly to discuss making the product range available in Gauteng Checkers stores again.
