Doughnuts and pastry

My daughter and her boyfriend purchased 3 doughnuts and a pastry last night from CHECKERS ROCK COTTAGE , my daughter asked the lady 3 times if the doughnuts and pastry were fresh , she was told 3 times they were made ' today ' maybe 'today ' last week , they were clearly stale when they got home my husband ate 1 , my dayghter took 1 mouthful and actually ' heaved ' and almost hurled , she tossed hers and her boyfriends doughnut and my pastry away...........Disgusting !!!!!! And no apologies EVER from Checkers ( I stopped purchasing fresh goods from them a long tine ago due to this experience )
