DO NOT TRUST CHECKERS LIQUOR PRICES

Yesterday (13 May '15) I pooed into my usual Checkers Liquor where I buy my drinks, this time to buy a nice bottle of whiskey for a friend of mine. As I walked into the store I was given a brochure with the BIG 20% Discount sale on single Malt whiskeys. I immediately walked to the stand in the middle of the walk way where this aggressive advertising is placed. There was exactly what I wanted, a Gentleman Jack gift box. I was already late for the event I was going to so I rushed to the till point to pay.Ephraim (who calls himself the manager) took my card and I noticed that the discount was not loaded, I pointed this out to him and he told me the sale only start on this coming Saturday. Knowing the CPA I told him if it is advertised at a discounted price I need to purchase the whiskey at the discounted price. He started laughing and spoke in a foreign language to a colleague, whereby I just asked for his name and number, then paid the whiskey.I have pictures of the stand as well the brochure that was give to me. The receipt is also available. I would like for this matter to be escalated to the CEO of Checkers and would like to have his contact details. This is unacceptable
