Checkers aims to keep costs as low as possible in order pass those savings onto consumers, this is evident in the fact that Checkers has consistently maintained a lower food price inflation than that of the official rate in South Africa. The most recent figures show Shoprites internal food inflation was restricted to 5.2%, markedly below the official food inflation figure of 8.2%.
Checkers also utilises the Eezicoupons initiative to provide further savings to customers when shopping. Checkers believes in bringing consumers everyday low prices on various consumer goods in a sustainable manner. This forms part of it business strategy of keeping all input costs as low as possible in order to pass those savings onto the millions of cash strapped South African consumers.
In the interest of good customer service, the details of your concerns about the pricing of the eggs will be brought to the attention of the relevant department for investigation. One of our representatives will be in contact with you to gather further information about these products.
