Dissatisfied client

So I went to checkers to get a few things, asked to scan to pay. The money did go off my account, showed the guy that was assisting that the money has gone off, showed them my statement, even went to the extent of calling the bank to confirm. They told me to leave I'll come back as soon as I think the money has went through. Honestly, that does not make sense
