Dissappointed with the manor in which the manager handled a situation

I have been a regular shopper at the Checkers Constantia Emporium since it opened.....I have been significantly dissapointed recently with one of the new "managers" Jesica. My view is based upon the manner in which she handled a situation with me.

Last week I checked the price of a product (shaving cream) that was clearly marked R27,99 on the shelf. I checked and recheckjed and then selected the product. When I got to the till, the product scanner at R76,99. I queried the error and the cashier after checking herself decided to call the manager, (Jesica). We went together to the shelf and the product was clearly marked R27,99 (albeit, alledgedly erroneous). Jesica mumbled under her breathe that she could not sell the product at this price and swiftly returned to the cashier. I stayed at the shelf re-checked whether I had made an error. Being a reasonable person I would expect to either to pay the displayed/marked price, or, be offered an alternate option. Jesica reversed the item off my bill whilst I was still at the shelf and immediately dissappeared, (obviouslly so as to aviod any potential conflict). Whilst I was still checking at the shelf, one of the junior staff members ("Thulie", rudly came to me and insinutated that I had moved the product! I demanded her name she refused and turned her back on me, started walking away and mumbled that I could go and get stuffed. I followed her but she would not even turn round and I decided to !!!. I went to the cashier, paid for the rest of my goods and left, feeling very dissillusioned

Had the situationed being handled differently the outcome may have been very much different. Clearly this would have infleunced my view regarding the Constantia Emporium Checkers, this being the area in which I reside.

I have been relating this story to my neighbours and friends who are absolutley appauled!
