Dissapointed customers
I am very disappointed and upset with the behaviour of the staff of Checkers in Metlife Plaza Port Elizabeth, particularly with a woman by the name of Siyasanga. Yesterday I arrived at the store 7 minutes to 8 before the closing time and I just wanted bread. I was with my husband, once we got in the store, she started shouting in Xhosa towards the security at door saying "why are customers still coming in, why is the door still open". I was really irritated with the disrespect as a customer because she was loud and made sure we hear her. I told my husband I'm not interested in buying bread there anymore because of the attitude from that woman.
We turned back and left without buying. On our way out. She again started singing loud and her colleagues were laughing. She was singing about returning back in Xhosa. I'm Xhosa so I understood she was again being disrespectful towards us. I turned back towards her to check her nametag so that I could report this incident.
I'm a regular at Checkers, I live in Kabega. I do my groceries there every month, I have never experienced such behavior before from any of the staff. That woman is very rude and disrespectful and ruining the brand of the store.
