Dishonest Advertising

We went to Checkers Modderfontein for the first time today. In your brochure you had advertised Oddbins for R49.99 and Heineken beer 12 @ R109.99. However my husband was told that it was for Black Friday. Nowhere in this particular brochure (Checkers better and better) did it mention anything about Black Friday. In fact the expiry date is 9th December. Unfortunately he did take them at their word and purchased some wine at R54.99 but fortunately not the beer. Also at the supermarket I had an issue with wrong barcoding, but they did sort it out. Really not impressed with your new store. It looks very nice but doesn’t operate as one would expect. Won’t see us there again.
