Disgusting customer service - Abongile N (express tills)

Poor customer service!

Visit to Checkers Bayside, Table View 21/12/21 @ 12h31 Cashier - Abongile N (as shown on cash slip)

I bought a few items and in the express que, get to the cashier, I greeted and first response from this cheeky cashier "unpack" .......? Shocked!!!! I asked her politely, I beg you pardon? She responded with hands behind her scan desk "yes, unpack its not my job to unpack, there is my manager standing you can go and ask my manager" ......!!!!!! Sorry! Whaaaaaaat? You have a nerve to meet me in the way you did and to ask me to unpack the basket that is right infront of you not even a hand space strech from you, it would be so insane to unpack anything out of the basic cause #1. There is no space between the basket nd your scanner and #2. It's only logic to take from the basket, scan nd move to the packers side..!!!!!!! !!!!! !!

Firstly, I greeted you & you never greeted me back which is a very common thing @ Checkers where the customer greets the cashier and the cashier meets you by asking for either, rewards card, bags etc

********* and unmannered! And then proceeds and invites me to call your manager. Who does that? Busy season, you should give exceptional service but on the contrary..

I was in such shock for the nerve of this lady. I asked her which one is your manager, she pointed with her eyes "that one lol" meanwhile there where two in shirt nd jerseys having conversation with eachother that I doubt they even heard this fine cheek. I ended up laughing it all off, told her she must be special cause she is the first to ever tell me this bout what is in her job description and what not and left with my cash slips that to this day, I am still flabbergasted by the nerve of that women.

I'd call apon a discussion or disciplinary because you treat one like that, means you treat all like that.

She is definitely bad news for business. You need to rethink business ethics you install withing your employees cause the pathetic customer service with no feel for what they do is clearly very contagious in your store and that is what sets you apart from any other franchise!
