Disgusting Checkers

Yesterday I purchased a hand mixer from checkers in Sun Valley.

I het told to keep the box, keep the slip incase I want to return it. Now these are things required of me as the customer. If someone returns something to the shop, is it not the job of the employees to check the things being brought back?

Today we open the mixer to use it and one of the metal pieces that plug into the machine is broken and the bottom of the actual mixer is cobered in what looks like cake mix!

Duri g this time where there is an extreme emphasis on cleaning, how can such a big chain store be so lax on this subject??? I am utterly disgusted!!! Thank God that I didn't use it as who knows if it was licked or not, because they surely did not clean it or even check it before it was just chucked back onto the shelf after it was returned!!!

This is unacceptable!!!
