Disgusted by tge pies and management WERNER Customer service

So yesterday i went to cherckers cavendish glen to buy their inhouse pies.i bought 3 when i got to my workplace as they are covered with pastry and seemed fine.i took a bite and a foul smell came out,i was suprised and i opened rhe whole pie and gowsh the smell was soo bad.i touched tge meat and it was slimmy and had mould.i went back to the shop for a refund and the manager was called to authorise the return.he came and to my suprise he didnt even greet or look at me,he authorised and the cashier told him that the pies were rotten.he in his rude behaviour said okay and walked away.wow....his stuff sells rotten food and a customer ate that and he says okay..so what i understand is that its PERFECTLY OKAY for cherckers to sell food thats rotten to customers.Werner doesnt care as long as hes making sales.what we buy and its condition is not his bussiness,hes simply there for the money.no wonder the stuff do not check the food they sell and how lobg they have been on the warmer.i mean they learnt that from him,they learnt from him to come to work to collect the money and to hell with customer service or customers health.i could have had food poisoning and he didnt even apologise,i asked the cashier and the poor lady wanted to call him to apologise and he walked ahead to do other things.its simple customer service to greet the customer ,hear why food is returned,check the condition the customer is talking about,go where the pies are and check the remaining ones,ask the stuff about the pies.but a Simple OKAY was said and walked away....so disgusted by his behaviour.how did someone who knows nothing about customer service become a manager??i would say he connections got him the job because service is greek to him.the pies had a sell by date for 25/12/2021 and i bought it on the 24 and the smell was sickening.whats worse is i buy there every single day,all the stuff would tastify to that but he could even look at me as if im the rotten one and not their supposed to be freshly baked pies everyday
