Disgusted at Checkers

Absolutely shocked and appalled at Checkers fairlands.... during lockdown level 5, i was able to assist my mother with her shopping as she is recovering from stage 4 breast cancer and chemotherapy along with being disabled due to a hip-joint degeneration. Upon arriving today, during level 4 lockdown, we were told by the manager the rule is only one family member at a time....

The response of the manager was, tell your mother to wait in the car while i did the shopping for us both, i travel from Bedfordview once a week to take her shopping and collect medication (when needed)....

How does this rule work if family members arrive separately?!

She is 65 years of age, and is unable to do the heavy lifting... As well as certain items I cannot get for her and that she won’t allow me to know about it....

I am also paying for the bill and she refused knowing my pin....
