Disappointing service at Checkers Monument Krugersdorp

I went to Checkers Monument to get some items during the lock down period in order to provide for my kids ( single father ), stood in line for about 15 minutes just to be told as I want to enter the shop, that my 8 year old son needs to stand out side and wait for me till I am done in the shop........... are you serious, in the world that we are living in you want me to leave my kid outside a shop just to get a couple of things, taking into consideration that both of us where wearing masks and gloves as stated by law during the lock down period................ so now when I need to get something I must decide do I leave my 8 year old alone at home ( child negligence ), do I have him wait in the car ( child negligence and endangerment ) or do I leave him outside the shop with strangers ( child negligence and endangerment ) ............... so much for Checkers being a family store ................ no matter what, I will under no circumstances put my feet in any checkers again, even if it means driving 100+ kms .... I refuse................ take note that this Checkers has also started going backwards as well, hardly any freshly baked bread rolls of any sort, staff walking away when you are busy talking to them, cause there phones are more important and because there chatting with one another take priority to customers ......... watermelons that are starting to go off and the fact that there is hardly any meat available and all this before the lock down even started
